Last-minute yoga in Dubai: find a class in the next few hours
Some days you only know at 5 PM that you need a yoga class tonight. Here is how to find one in Dubai a few hours before, without signing up for a membership.
The problem with booking yoga the same day
Dubai has beautiful yoga studios, but most of them work with packs and memberships. If you only want one class, tonight, you often end up paying the full drop-in price, or you find that the time slot you wanted is already full.
At the same time, many classes start with a few empty mats. Someone cancels, someone is stuck at work. Those spots are there, they're just hard to see.
Book the last spots on Spotd
On Spotd, partner studios release the spots left in their yoga and Pilates classes. You see what's open near you, you pick a class, you book it in a few taps.
- One class at a time. No pack, no membership. You pay in the app when you book.
- Classes open for booking 12 hours before they start (an opening that would fall in the night moves to 11 PM or 7 AM).
- Book until 40 minutes before the class, if spots are left.
A lower price, the closer you get
The discount grows as the class gets closer, so a class you book after work for the same evening is often the best deal.
Which yoga class to pick
- Vinyasa if you want to move: poses linked together with the breath, a flowing and dynamic class.
- Hatha if you want something calmer: poses held a little longer, a good start if you're new.
- Yin or restorative, when studios offer them, for a slow class to stretch and unwind at the end of the day.
